The Seven Habits for a Better Indonesia: A Call to Action.

Good morning honorable judges and my beloved friends,

First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Stesha Acelin Purba, and I am from SMP Negeri 2 Dharma Caraka
Gunungsitoli Selatan. Today, I am deeply honored to stand here and deliver my speech on The seven habits for a better
Indonesia, a program introduced by our lgovernment to guide the young generation toward discipline, health, intelligence,
and strong character.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Children are often called the hope of the nation. But what does it really take to be children who bring pride to Indonesia?
The government has outlined seven important habits. These habits may look simple in our daily lives, yet they are powerful
because they shape our future. Allow me to explain them one by one clearly.

The first habit is waking up early. A child who wakes up early learns the value of discipline and time. Waking up early gives
us more opportunities to prepare for the day, to study, and to work with a clear mind. It also keeps our body fresh and our
thoughts positive. We must remember: if we start our morning well, we will end our day well.

The second habit is praying and worshiping regularly. Prayer is not only a ritual; it is a reminder to be grateful, to be
humble, and to walk on the right path. A child who prays will grow with strong morals, respect for parents, and a heart that
values honesty. This habit shows us that intelligence without character is incomplete.

The third habit is exercising. A healthy body creates a healthy mind. When children exercise regularly, they build strength,
focus, and confidence. Exercise also teaches teamwork, fairness, and discipline. Whether it is sports at school, morning
jogging, or simply moving our body, exercise prepares us to face challenges in life.

The fourth habit is eating healthy and nutritious food. Many young people often forget this. They prefer fast food and
snacks. But a great Indonesian child understands that what we eat decides our health, our energy, and even our mood. By
eating nutritious food, we respect our bodies and prepare ourselves for better achievements.

The fifth habit is loving to learn. Knowledge is power, and learning is the key to success. A child who loves learning will not
only read books but also ask questions, search for answers, and try new things. This habit trains us to be creative, open-
minded, and intelligent. It is not about studying only for exams, but about building a love for knowledge that last forever.

The sixth habit is participating in community and social life. A great child does not live only for themselves. They care about
others, help friends, respect teachers, and contribute to society. By joining community activities, we learn about unity,
empathy, and respect for diversity. These values are very important for our nation, because Indonesia is strong when its
people care for one another.

The seventh habit is going to bed early or having enough rest. Some children think staying up late is normal, but lack of
sleep makes us tired, unfocused, and weak. Rest is not laziness; it is preparation for the next day. When we sleep early, we
wake up fresh, energetic, and ready to give our best.

Honorable judges and dear friends, by doing these habits, we will see a generation that is not only smart but also healthy,
disciplined, and full of integrity. A generation that loves learning, respects health, values togetherness, and lives with
gratitude. That is the true meaning of great Indonesian children.

So, my beloved friends, let us not delay these habits until tomorrow. Let us start today, from ourselves, from our family, and
from our school. Because great changes always begin with small steps.

That is all my speech for today. I sincerely hope that these seven habits will not only remain as words, but also will become
actions in our daily lives. Together, let us commit to being great Indonesian children, for the future of our beloved country.

Thank you very much for your kind attention.
