Steel making process

Input: The input requirement to make variety of steel product includes : Iron Ore Coal Injection Coal Coke Oven Limestone Blast Furnace Recycled Steel Iron Casting Continuous Casting

At first the raw materials of Steel making process are Iron ore, fluxes & coal. Where iron ore, fluxes are send to the Sinter plant & Coal is send to the Coke plant. From Sinter plant, Iron come up & on the other hand coal from coke plant. Then coal & iron will go to the blast furnace. There are two sectors to produce steel. The first one is LD 1. These sectors get their components from blast furnace. Then these components mixed up with LD 1 machine transfer to the Continuous Billet Caster .There it will make Billets. The wire mill produces Wire Rods & Merchant mill produces Rebars.Another machine which called LD 2 get their components from blast furnace. By mixing up to the LD 2 machine, it goes to the Slab Caster. After this process, it will become Slabs. Where hot strip mill produces hot roll coils & cold roll mill produces cold roll coils.

Output: The variety of steel product will be: Slabs Billets Wire Rods Rebars etc.
