WORK CONTENTS FOR THE TEACHING STAFF


1. To aim and achieve in unique ways, to build and create a citizen professionally competent, socially useful, self-employable and ethically accountable always. To initiate and institutionalise creative and innovative teaching systems and coaching methods through participation. The focus must be on innovation and continuous improvement in teaching methodologies. To initiate, develop and demonstrate innovative teaching methods in such a fashion that the lectures impart (i) a desire for and pleasure in learning (ii) ability to learn and intellectual curiosity. This should get reflected in qualitative Project Work. To become accountable for the results through all phases. To develop and practice sound laboratory instructions so that the theory and practice complement each other for greater professional competency of the students. To develop greater attention to evaluation so that what is learnt is anchored in the mind, especially, basics. To cultivate and exemplify in building enduring student rapport by systems of academic assistance. In coordination with Vice-Chancellor, student placement should be made essential. To involve in the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that may help shape an integral student. Book publishing, individually or jointly will be allowed with prior permission. The University will have appropriate rights as per the rules in force or as amended later. To contribute seminar papers and articles to reputed journals. The expectation of the organization behaviour and attitude are that she/he should (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) (vi) (vii) (viii) Work in a team Behave in multi- lateral and multi-level coordination Safeguard of the organisation interests at all times Be true and honest Demonstrate organisations ethos of the organisation through creative work, rewarding contacts and student placement. Be answerable for result, orientation and time-bound accomplishment of duties. Achieve significantly higher standards in student performance in competitive examination. To take active part and encourage students to participate in consultancy works undertaken by the University for various private organizations, Public sector organizations and also individuals. To undertake and encourage research and development activities in their fields and publish research notes in Technical Magazines. Work toward the vision and mission of the university.
