Vol. 1, Issue 8=======================================================November 26, 2012 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the Home Front -------------------Amazing Finds at Sams Store Lompoc, CA While normally opposed to shopping at Sam Waltons establishments, The Busy Bee made a pit-stop at the Lompoc area Wal-mart on the way home from the other pre-occupation. Technically, this particular Wal-mart will soon be a Super Wal-mart, but recent attempts to visit many of these Super Wal-mart locations at obscure hours have shown that these many of these super-centers are no longer open 24 hours a day. Shock and awe aside, the real amazements were to be found inside the store, not on the door glass. While strolling about and reacquainting ourselves with the new standardized format for all Walmart stores, The Busy Bee found the toy section. At long last, Hotwheels, Matchbox toys, and some East Asian company, have decided to make 97 castings or stampings of modern European and Japanese cars: cars such as the Aston Martin DBS, Aston Martin Volante, Aston Martin One-77, BMW 2002, Citroen C4 WRC, Honda Civic Type R, Lotus Europa, Lotus Evora, Subaru WRX STI, Mistubishi Lancer Evolution IX, etc; classic American Muscle was to be had in the shape of Gran Torinos, Studebakers, and Ford Roadsters, etc; and of course there were the Lamborghinis and Ferraris. The Busy Bee has definitely made a few additions to the growing small car collection, but thats just one more reason why the wife should be there controlling the pocketbook. In the last great find of the day, while deliberating on frozen pizzas, a thought occurred: Look at something besides the price! The eyes glanced to the pizza box top... and there he was... Spider-man! Here to save the day again, the Amazing Spider-man made the decision for dinner: an extra-large, 14 pepperoni pizza of the Marketplace brand for only $5.98, of similar price to the Digiornos pizza of lesser size. Thank you comic book advertising!
