Installing, Configuring and Administering of Sun Solaris servers File System Management (resolving the issues on File Systems). Create users and manage the users Accounts, passwords. Monitoring System Performance of Virtual memory, Managing Swap Space, Disk utilization and CPU utilization. Hands on experience on SVM and RAID levels. Maintained Local area networks by using the NFS, NIS, and DNS. SMF (enabling, disabling and troubleshooting the services) Installing, Upgrading the packages and patches to the servers. Zones ( creating sparse root/ whole root zones/ branded zones) Creating concatenated/stripe/Raid1/RAID5 Volume Replacing the disk which is under SVM control Root Disk Mirroring in SVM.
