Winglet Technology, LLC and Cessna Aircraft Company have collaborated to develop the worlds fastest winglet for the worlds fastest business jet. The Elliptical Winglet shape provides superior aerodynamic performance across a broad range of mach numbers and operating conditions. The patented Elliptical Winglet shape ensures the lift distribution of the wing closely matches the optimum lift distribution along the span of the wing, which significantly reduces the induced drag of the aircraft. The resulting drag reduction enhances the overall operational performance for the Citation X and provides significant performance benefits. Winglet Technology has received FAA STC approval permitting the installation of Elliptical Winglets on the Cessna Citation X aircraft. In addition to FAA approval, the STC has been approved by EASA (Europe), TCCA (Canada), ANAC (Brazil), and DGAC (Mexico).
