Recce Checklist: Things To Take

All of my intentions have already been explained at base

No passes are required but all instructors must have proof of their ability to drive a boat

Very warm clothes, hat, gloves, scarf

Transport/access:

No neighbours to disturb No risk or trespass Access for boats No toilets are near!

Wear life jackets at all times and follow the instructions of the instructor High risk of man overboard but not likely if I am careful on the boat No boats should travel too near each other but if that is the case, the instructors will know what to do

Camera/lighting:

Could create glare on the footage

The size of this location is huge, but wont cause any problems for my filming

All of my kit (apart from the GoPro and fittings) will be left safely at base.

Sound:

Aircraft could fly over at any time but its not a problem with sound because audio is being removed and replaced with a track

Electrical hazards Schools Weather

No problem with sound and the weather. The only problem would be if I wasnt to use the waterproof casing for the camera but I am planning on doing so!
