Listen to Problems Before They Become Breakdowns!
Applications:
Automotive Heavy-duty trucks Industrial Marine Railroad Air conditioning Refrigeration
Ideal for detecting:
Air brake leaks Compressed air leaks Gear and bearing wear Vacuum leaks EVAP system leaks Electrical discharge Exhaust leaks Refrigerant leaks Gas and liquid turbulence Cabin seal and gasket integrity and more
Converts and amplifies ultrasonic sound into audible natural sound for accurate diagnosis
Ultra-sensitive electronic circuitry detects sounds significantly beyond the range of the human ear Self-adjusting AGC (Automatic Gain Control) circuitry automatically compensates for fluctuations in signal strength 10 bar LED intensity indicator helps pinpoint the exact problem source Precision-engineered air and contact probes optimize receiver versatility Factory calibrated for optimal performance; does not require recalibration Special emitter produces ultrasonic pulses to help receiver check for faulty seals, gaskets and weather stripping in passenger cabs, trailers and other non-pressurized enclosures Rugged carrying case with contoured foam padding for safe storage and transportation Receiver and emitter powered by standard 9-volt alkaline batteries (included)
Perfect for preventive maintenance The ultrasonic range of the Marksman can actually pick up the sound of a blinking eye! This super-sensitive capability makes it one of most effective early warning systems to detect defects and malfunctions before they result in major breakdowns. Its an ideal diagnostic tool that dramatically reduces equipment downtime and maintenance costs. Highly accurate The Marksman uses a two-tiered process to ensure accurate diagnosis. First, it converts inaudible ultrasonic sound into audible sound using a process known as heterodyning. Then, the units Sound Signature Technology fine-tunes the audible sound into the "natural" sound emitted by the defect itself. In addition, a 10 bar LED display indicates the intensity of incoming signals from the problem source to ensure error-free diagnosis.
TP-9370 Marksman Master Kit Also available: TP-9371 (same as TP-9370, but without emitter)
Extremely user friendly The units Automatic Gain Control (AGC) circuitry automatically adjusts to optimize signal sensitivity during every inspection. This simplifies operation and helps the user focus on the problem at hand no need to play around with multiple knobs and buttons. Just turn on the Marksman and its ready to go! Designed for optimal performance The TP-9370 Master Kit comes with an ultrasonic emitter and two probes that are specially designed to enhance the Marksmans versatility. The emitter, which transmits ultrasonic pulses to the receiver, tests for faulty seals, gaskets and weather stripping in cabs, trailers and other non-pressurized enclosures. The 12" air probe extends the receivers reach and helps isolate a leak among multiple suspect areas. The contact probe, when touched to an external surface, picks up and transmits ultrasonic sound from defective internal components without disassembly. Portable The Marksman, with its solid-state circuitry, is compact and lightweight. The receiver, weighing just 10 ounces, is perfect for prolonged, fatigue-free inspections. Specifications
