Important information about your refuse and recycling service


Glasgow City Councils refuse and recycling service operates seven days a week and bins may be emptied any time between 7am and 6pm. Please put wheeled bins outside your property, at the edge of the kerb with the handles facing outwards, before 7am on the day and dates shown. Bin lids should be closed and no excess waste should be left on top of or at the side of the bin. If your scheduled day falls on 25/26 December or 1/2 January please watch for announcements in the local press detailing alternative collection arrangements.
