3VT molded-case circuit breakers Compact and safe up to 1,600 A
3VT molded-case circuit breakers are an intelligent and cost-effective way to achieve high performance and availability. These 3VT circuit breakers feature a compact design to save space, thanks to the modular versatility of the circuit breakers ranging from 10 A to 1,600 A. You can choose either thermal-magnetic or electronic trip units. In addition, the entire range has only three families of internal accessories. The result: maximum benefit, minimum expense.
Technical features1 Rated current range from 10 A to 1,600 A Electronic overcurrent trip units from 250 A (3VT250) upwards 3- and 4-pole versions Fixed-mounted, plug-in and draw-out versions Wide range of standard external accessories Conforms to the following standards: IEC 60947-1, IEC 60947-2, IEC 60947-3
1 In cases where higher ratings and communications capabilities are required, please see SENTRON 3VL circuit breakers
Exchangeable electronic trip units: 3VT2 (250 A) to 3VT5 (1,600 A) Wide range of electronic trip units coinciding with application loads Authorized persons can easily exchange electronic trip units on their own Adjustment range from 40 to 100 In A switch disconnector block can be used in place of electronic trip units as a switch disconnector in MCCB design, and to have access to the complete range of MCCB accessories
Wide range of operating mechanisms: Rotary handles (front- or side-operated) Motor mechanism with or without cycle counter

Highly efficient and economical: 3VT circuit breakers
Today, the economic success of industrial and infrastructure projects more than ever depends on the power supply a key aspect for availability, performance and productivity, and a lever to boost overall economic efficiency. Thats why choosing the right circuit breakers is so crucial to keeping expenses down while, at the same time, optimizing performance. With the new standard line of 3VT circuit breakers, Siemens offers an economic solution for the entire power range from 10 A to 1,600 A the smart solution to protect plants, capacitors, transformers and generators. Both for infrastructure applications as well as in the area of industrial switchgear technology, 3VT circuit breakers can be used as incoming and outgoing circuit breakers to distribute power in low-voltage switchgear. Available in several design variations, the modular circuit breakers are highly user-friendly, while also offering a high degree of safety and reliability.
