Responsibilities:
Gathering of business requirements through discussion with user team.
Gap analysis to identify variances between current process and requirements.

Preparation of Functional Specification Documents as per the business requirement.
Planning and execution of test scenarios to ensure correctness of the development.
Coordination with business & development teams for timely completion of the project.

Portfolio Management Services
It is an internally developed BackOffice application which manages portfolios of HNI clients.
It broadly consist of masters, file uploads, MIS reports, Audit reports, order generation based on the schemes maped to
the clients.
It also has a web based platform where client can view his investment performance and reports of realized gain/ loss.

Major projects:

AMC Outfile: The module used to generate the file that is used to instruct CAMS about the application and
redemption of mutual funds for clients.
Transfer Letter Generation: The project was undertaken so that the DD, Transfer Request, NEFT, etc. letters are
generated through system for the funds transferred to clients personal account.
NDPMS Migration of Clients: It was project undertaken to migrate PMS clients from one product to another so that
the duplicate operational activities can be eliminated from the process. As a first step we have successfully migrate the
non-discretionary client and we are going to start with the migration of discretionary clients.
Web Disclosure of Debit note & Closure Letter: The project was to develop an option on the web from the client can
view his debit note and closure letters published by the operations team.
Server Migration: This was an activity to upgrade the SQL server from 2005 to 2008. While upgrading we have to
check whether the entire modules which are currently used are compatible in the new upgraded server.
Bank Reconciliation Module: This was the module developed to reconcile the bank transaction of the clients and bank
balances on daily basis with the transaction and balances available in the bank and PMS application.
Payment Closure Letter: This was a report developed in excel and a logic was defined to calculate the amount
receivable and payable from the client during the closure of the account.
MIS Report: As per the guidance from the compliance team additional details regarding when the corpus was switched
from basket to actual were displayed in Statement of Investment report.
Debit Note: A new module was developed in the application to generate the debit notes based on the management fee
charged to the client. New formats of debit notes were developed for different management fee types.

Mutual Fund Distribution system

Major projects:

Offline to Online Transfer of MF Scheme: A web based reports was developed to take applications from the clients
to transfer their holdings from offline to online. The objective was to provide clients with a process at their doorstep to
put a transfer of MF units request instead of going to the branch.
Investor Document Extraction: A document extraction module was developed to automate the extraction which was
done manually. A solution was provided to help users in fetching the document images of a client in Humming Bird
database and store them in the format specified. Subsequently the system also provides an option to view and prepare
the Documents needed to be uploaded to an RTA for various clients.
ASBA Application: ASBA is an application containing an authorization to block the application money in the clients
bank account, for subscribing to an IPO/FPO issue. ASBA facility was developed in the system so that when an
investor applies through ASBA, his application money would be debited from the bank account only if his/her
application is selected for allotment after the basis of allotment is finalized.
Offer for Sale: OFS is used by market participants and popular for offloading shares of promoters in listed companies
in order to achieve minimum public shareholding.OFS was developed in the system to extract the orders of an
investors and send the response to the exchange and the script master was build for the operation team for adding up
the script and cut off time for the new OFS.


FIRC Report: Foreign Inward Remittance Certificate (FIRC) is documents that provide proof of inward remittance to
India. It is treated as document evidence by most of the statutory authorities for confirming the validity of the foreign
money received by the beneficiary. A Module was built in the system to generate the letter and annexure checking the
ledger balance of NRI clients and sending to the respected bodies.

Angel Broking Limited Executive Risk Management and Surveillance Feb 2008 Jan 2010

Responsible for Monitoring and evaluating the client positions on a real time and end of day basis and maintaining
the appropriate fund level. Decision making in squaring off the client`s position which are in projected risk.

Surveillance in cash as well as F&O on real time basis.
Ensure RMS procedure is done without any errors or successfully at least an hour before the market starts.
Review risk management process and point out the improvement areas regularly and implement the same.
Recovery matters-issue of notices, legal drafting, filing cases, etc.
Reconciliation of Shares, Dividend in case of corporate actions.
Punching the order on BOLT, NEAT (CM &FO) & Odin Terminals on behalf of the client.
