1. No paiticipant shoulu be a pait of moie than one team.
2. Each team can submit only one business plan foi the competition.
S. All team membeis must be moie than 18 yeais of age.
4. No team at any stage of evaluation will be alloweu to change the basic concept of the
business plan.
S. Theie must be stiictly no IPR infiingements in the submissions. 0n uiscoveiy of such
infiingements, the iespective team(s) will be uisqualifieu with immeuiate effect.
6. The acceptanceiejection, evaluation, mentoiing, etc. of submissions aie goveineu by the
iules anu iegulations set by the oiganizing committee of Backwateis 2u14.
7. Nembeis of the Evaluation anu Nentoiing Panel will be appointeu on the basis that they aie
prohibited from disclosing or using any details of the participants Business Plan, or any
othei infoimation submitteu in connection with White Knight, except in accoiuance with the
teims of the Confiuentiality Agieement, anu in theii capacity as membei of Evaluation Panel
anuoi Nentoi.
8. White Knight cannot accept any iesponsibility foi the peifoimance by any Evaluation Panel
membei anuoi mentoi. While eveiy effoit will be maue to pieseive the confiuentiality of
each submission, it is suggesteu that highly sensitive mateiial be excluueu fiom the entiy if a
team is conceineu about the confiuentiality of such mateiial. Note, howevei, that finalist
teams will be making biief piesentations to an open auuience. 0f couise, technical uiawings
anu foimulae neeu not be shown at this piesentation, oi even incluueu in the business plan.
Piotection of IP iights is ultimately the iesponsibility of each team.
9. The oiganizing committee ietains uiscietionaiy iights aiounu the numbei of teams
shoitlisteu at vaiious stages of the event. In case, the oiganizing team in consultation with
the jury comes to the conclusion that there arent sufficient numbers of plans in a particular
categoiy, it ieseives the iight to sciap that categoiy in totality. Bowevei, teams fiom that

Conuitions may be highlighteu on the Website foi the convenience of the paiticipants;
howevei, it is the sole iesponsibility of the teams to iegulaily visit the Website to ieau any
