This joint affidavit was made by three witnesses - Anne Kurtish, Maja Salvarro, and Sarah Peronimo - who are officemates of the complainant, Maine F. Gonzales, and the accused, Arthur Sanggalang. They state that they personally know both Gonzales and Sanggalang, who had been in a two-year relationship. They further attest that on December 18, 2014 they attended a Christmas party with Gonzales where Sanggalang was also present. Later that night, Gonzales became dizzy and Sanggalang offered to take her home in a cab around 1:10 am, when she had lost much of her consciousness.

Joint affidavit of witness


We, ANNE KURTISH, MAJA SALVARRO, and SARAH
PERONIMO, single, of legal age, Filipinos and working at TEXTBOX, after
having been sworn to in accordance with law, do herby and deposed and state:
1. That we personally know the complainant Maine F. Gonzales and accused
Arthur Sanggalang as we are officemates at TEXTBOX located at Damosa
Lanang, Davao City;
2. That we knew that both the complainant Maine F. Gonzales and accused
Arthur Sanggalang have been in a relationship that lasted for two (2) yers;
3. That on December 18, 2014, we have our Christmas party at club violet in
Claveria st. Davao City together with the complainant Maine F. Gonzales;
4. That at the time, we knew that the accused Arthur Sanggalang together with
his company was on the other side of our table;
5. That at around 10:30 in the evening, we noticed that the complainant Maine
F. Gonzales was already dizzy and went to the comfort room;
6. That on or about 12:30, oclock in the morning of December 19, 2014,
Arthur Sanggalang approached in our table and offered to the complainant to
take home;
7. That at around 1:10 a.m , the complainant Maine F. Gonzales being almost
losing her consciousness was being accompanied by the accused Arthur
Sanggalang and took a ride by a cab;
8. That we are executing this affidavit to attest the truth of the forgoing facts
and for whatever purposes this may serve.
