FIAT India Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. is a joint venture between
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles & TATA Motors. Our plant is located at
Ranjangaon in Pune.

FIAT GROUP- HISTORY


Established in 1899, Fiat is one of the worlds major
industrial groups with operations in over 90 countries.
The Group has 203 plants, 118 research centers, 633
companies and more than 1,98,000 employees.
The Groups business is carried out through several operating
Sectors:
Fiat Group Automobiles(Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo and Abarth
brands)
Maserati and Ferrari (Luxury sports cars)
CNH (Agricultural and construction equipment),
Iveco(Trucks and commercial vehicles)
Fiat Powertrain Technologies (Engines and Transmissions),
Magnetic Marelli (Automotive components)
Teksid (Engine blocks, cylinder heads and other components)
Comau (automated production systems) and Itedi (publishing
& communications).
FIAT (Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino) was founded
and built its first car in 1899. Between1899 and today, FIAT
Group Automobiles has produced close on 90 million cars and
light commercial vehicles.

FIAT-CHRYSLER MERGER

Chrysler Group LLC is a multinational automaker formed in


2009 from a global strategic alliance with Fiat, produces
Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, SRT, Fiat, and Mopar vehicles
and products that is headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan,
United States.
Chrysler was first organized as the Chrysler Corporation in
1925.
On June 10, 2009, Chrysler LLC emerged from bankruptcy
reorganization and substantially all of its operations were
sold to a new company, Chrysler Group LLC, organized in
alliance with the Italian automaker Fiat.
Fiat initially held a 20% interest stake in Chrysler Group,
which over the period of time increased to 58.5%.

OVERVIEW OF TATA MOTORS


Tata Motors Limited is an Indian multinational automotive
corporation headquartered in Mumbai, India.
It is the 7th largest motor vehicle manufacturing company in
the world by volume.
Part of the Tata Group, it was formerly known as TELCO (TATA
Engineering and Locomotive Company) its products include
passenger cars, trucks, vans and coaches.
Tata Motors is South Asias largest automobile company; it is
the leader in commercial vehicles and among the top three
in passenger vehicles.
It has auto manufacturing and assembly plants in
Jamshedpur, Pantnagar, Lucknow, Sanand, Dharwad and
Pune, India, as well as in Argentina, South Africa, Thailand
and the United Kingdom.
Tata Motors has produced and sold over 8 million vehicles in
India since 1954.
Tata Motors was established in 1945, when the company
began manufacturing locomotives.
First Company from India to be listed in New York Stock
Exchange (September2004).

Second Largest Bus Manufacturer in world.


Fourth Largest Truck Manufacturer in world.
Tata Motors formed a joint venture with Fiat and gained
access to Fiats diesel engine technology.
Tata Motors sells Fiat cars in India through a 50/ 50 joint
venture Fiat India Automobiles Pvt. Limited and is looking to
extend its relationship with Fiat.
