Overview of Work: In the last five years, I have edited dissertations in
the subject areas of Education, Psychology, Counseling, and Business. I
am well versed in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods
research. I currently work or have worked with students at Argosy
University, Capella University, George Mason University, Morgan State
University, and Northern Arizona University. In addition to editing
dissertations, I have served as a writing coach for dissertation students
and I have served as an editor for fiction publications as well as journal

Duties Include: Tutoring writing for graduate students across the
curriculum. I provide Google hangout sessions, weekly writing tips, and
feedback on a variety of assignment types in MLA, APA, and Chicago
formats. As coordinator for the writing room, I develop the writing
tutors schedule, update the director weekly on the writing room, and
write end-of-the-semester reports on the usage of the writing room.

Assistant Director, Writing, Reading and Language Center,

Duties Include: As Assistant Director of the Writing, Reading, and
Language Center (WRLC), I manage daily operations in a learning center
that supports over 100,000 students per year. I supervise a team of 20
student workers and train them to assist students, promote the center

through a variety of outreach initiatives, and aid them in developing
their resumes through completing a variety of projects to help with
managing and organizing the center. Additionally, I oversee writing
tutors in the development of writing center and tutoring pedagogy,
workshops, and classroom visits. To enhance the visibility of the center, I
work with students and staff to promote the WRLC throughout campus
and sit on the student success and student services council. In order to
make sure both faculty and staff are continually satisfied with the
center, I assess students' tutoring and workshop experiences as well as
faculty's overall satisfaction with the center and its offerings.

Duties Include: I am responsible for designing syllabi and assignments
for teaching English composition and English literature. I participated
in the Development English Redesign during FY12 by attending
meetings, training sessions, and providing feedback on the new
curriculum and on the accuracy of placement testing. I am Virginia
Community College (VCC) certified to teach hybrid courses, blackboard
certified, and have been teaching hybrid classes for several years. I
have also participated in new student orientation for FY13 and
volunteered to teach English sunrise classes in FY14, which I still

Duties Include: Constructing syllabi and essay assignments for
Transitional English, English Composition, English Literature, and
Critical Thinking courses. I was responsible for fostering intellectual
growth in a various number of classes with a learning centered
approach. I sat on several committees including the QEP teamwork
committee and the curriculum committee. I also wrote and developed
curriculum and assessment for the English 101, 102, and 305 classes as
well as chose new textbooks. As Lead English faculty, I hired, trained,
scheduled, and observed all English faculty members. I have presented
at NCTE on my classroom methods and ways to engage students using

Center Director (ASC), I have worked across the curriculum to foster a
culture of writing, academic support, and to help faculty promote
academic success. I hired, trained, scheduled, and assessed all student
workers as well as helped them design workshops to help increase
academic engagement. I have developed and implemented the
Emerging Leaders program, which formed leadership skills in AIWs
student tutors, teachers assistants, and programming assistants.

Second Year Experience and Student Engagement Coordinator, The Art May 2010Institute of Washington

Duties Include: Running new student orientation (eight per year) and
heading up the orientation committee. I designed and launched the
second year experience program that served students in their second
year at AIW by providing them mentoring services, discussion
sessions, social events, and panel sessions to help them stay engaged
and begin to focus on their career path. I was also the faculty advisor
for Art Institute Entertainment, Alpha Chi, and Alpha Lambda Delta. I
helped organize meetings and events and supervise student programs.
I was in charge of overseeing all student organizations and clubs as
well as the chair of the curriculum committee for the southern
campuses (seven schools in total).

graduate students at Rutgers Camden. I tutored students in writing a
variety of different types of papers and provided support in the areas

Duties Include: Being a reading teacher of students from 4 years-old to
adults. I was in charge of providing a learning environment conducive
to teaching students how to enjoy reading. I provided parents a model
