Salient feature of the Application:
The application shall collect the data from the Weighbridges across the project automatically
without any manual intervention and transfer into the data server which is hosted at TFL Office
Jaipur.
At any point of time Management can view the Weighbridges production details across WDFC
Project.
It is an unique development using with the latest web technology
Proposed to extend the application across the IC
It is an in-house development of ISD WDFC JAIPUR. Cost of implementation is very minimal.
Currently 30 Weighbridges are integrated and data is in LIVE for WDFC Project

Executive Summary
The application will be using Multi-tier Architecture. It will have Front Tier, Application Tier and
Database Tier.
Front -Tier: Design of the application falls under the Front-Tier. ASPX pages will be used behind the
code. Ajax Services and Ajax Library will be used for the design purpose.
Application-Tier: Service Layer, Business Access Layer and Data Access Layer fall under ApplicationTier. These three layers will interact with each other through Third Party Integrator. ORM tool will
be used in Data Access Layer. WCF will be used for Service Layer and Database Layer respectively.
Database-Tier: This tier handles the database of the application. SQL Server will be used for backend.
Scope of the Work
The project is being classified into different phases for better categorization to ensure faster
development and deployment of the software for project usage.
The initial phase is the complete framework on which future software development programs can
plug in.
Phase 1 revolves different make of weighbridges data capturing, data monitoring, visual
representation, mobile interface and others.
