Please be informed that consistent with the mandates of Republic Act No. 7160 otherwise
known as the Local Government Code of 1991 and Republic Act No. 7942, An Act Instituting a
New System of Mineral Resources Exploration, Development, Utilization, and Conservation of
Mineral Resources and Local Revenue Code of Bukidnon, the Provincial Government of
Bukidnon is strengthening the enforcement of small scale mining laws and regulations,
particularly on the extraction, utilization and conservation of sand and gravel and other quarry
resources in the Province of Bukidnon.
There has been an incident occurred in the office of the Provincial Administrator, that
several Delivery Receipt coupons were stolen, in which such coupons were intercepted by the
BENRO inspectors during the conduct of their inspection duty. In the delivery receipt coupon
various plate numbers of dump truck units were listed carrying the said stolen Delivery Receipt
coupons.
As such, I am requesting your office to provide us the complete name and address of the
owners of the following vehicles with the Plate number which was recorded by the BENRO
quarry inspector as mentioned above, to be subjected for an inquiry regarding the issue at hand:
