Lesson Plan

This lesson plan is for a grade one class of 23 five-year-old students to teach them about measurement. The goal is for students to be able to revise the measure of size and shape by the end of the lesson. Materials include thread, marshmallows, and worksheets. Activities will have students measure each other's sizes with thread and measure marshmallows with rulers. The teacher will ask questions and help students. Any misbehavior will result in a student sitting alone. Assessment of learning will be through teacher observation and questioning of students.
