An engineering site visit was conducted at Sheltech Eyachin Palace on August 26, 2016. The following observations were made: 1. Concrete work for a level 8 slab was observed to be within specifications. Slump test values, cylinder samples taken, and material quality all met standards. Proper vibration and formwork was used. 2. No nonconforming issues were identified. 3. Instructions were provided to clean rebar after setting and properly cure the concrete over the full area. No safety violations or previous nonconforming issues were observed.

Slab at level-8 casting work is observed, wherea) Casting is done using ready mix concrete. Supplier Borak.
b) Slump values are found within acceptable range.
c) Cylinders are taken for strength test from each track as per standard.
d) Stone chips quality is found satisfactory.
e) Vibrator is properly kept for proper compaction.
f) Shear key provision is found ok.
g) Casting height and level is found ok.

2. Nonconforming Observations:

No nonconforming observations are found.

3. Instructions:

Rebar should be cleaned after final setting of concrete.


Curing should be done properly at full area.
