Selection Criteria

Proven experience/knowledge in diagnosing and resolving a broad range of technical


problems for desktops, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and associated software
applications.
The past 10 years working at Calibre One and Acer Australia my daily workload involved
diagnosing and resolving a wide range of hardware devices within the IT industry. This also
included isolation and troubleshooting of many software applications within these hardware
units.
Experience in a customer service environment and ability to liaise effectively with a diverse
range of users.
Since starting in the IT industry over 10 years ago I have worked and liaised with variety of
users from retail home users to corporate clients in large companies such as Telstra. My
environment everyday is different, working within environments such as universities,
colleges, schools, hospitals, defence forces, medical centres, government departments,
sporting clubs, small and large business clients.
Understanding of IT standards
When I was first trained in the IT Industry many years ago working with computer
hardware/software related issues I learnt to be thorough with my work in testing and
troubleshooting devices. With the many years of experience I have gained I managed to set
a high standard of work ethic which gives me fulfilment and pride in what I do.
Experiencing working effectively in a team environment.
Working previously for the Telstra Corporation it taught me some valuable skills working
effectively within diverse team environments which created a foundation for adapting to
any given team situation.
