Electives

SEMESTER I, 2016-17

1. Elective course may be allotted subject to the condition that the time table, test
dates and comprehensive exam dates are fitting into the time table without any
clash. Read from page IV-63 (First Degree) IV-89(Higher Degree) of
Bulletin 2016-17 for list of Discipline elective courses
2. Dual degree students who will be doing the respective science group CDCs are
NOT allowed to take their second degree engineering course electives.
3. Dual degree students in the fourth year must ensure that they complete all their
first degree (Science) electives requirements.
4. ONLY ONE PROJECT course per semester is allowed.
5. For all project type courses there must be pre-registration for that student.
6. If a student has done a project course before, he/she has to ensure that the new
project course number is different. Else it will be a repeat course and only the
current grade will be valid.
7. Ensure that you are familiar with the project course rules as given in the
Bulletin. Read page IV-73 of the Bulletin.
