2010 Existing Home Rebates

Thank you for your interest in our marketing programs. Diverse Power offers incentives to member
consumers upgrading their existing water heating and/or heating and cooling systems to more energy
efficient equipment. In order to qualify for these incentives, please complete the following information
and return it along with a paid receipt for the installed equipment to our office. Once this information is
received, your rebate will be processed as a credit on your electric account.

1. All rebate requests must be submitted for installations that have been complete for no more three
months; this means that all HVAC and water heating equipment is installed in its final condition. If a job
has been complete for more than three months, it will not be eligible for rebates.

2. Tankless water heaters are not eligible for rebates.


2010 Existing Home Improvement Rebates

Heat P um ps:

Electric to electric change out $100/System


Electric heat pump replacing existing heat pump, electric resistance heat or wood heat.

Electric replacing gas heat $300/System


Electric heat pump replacing natural gas, propane gas or oil heat as the primary heating system.

Dual fuel heat pump $250/System


Dual fuel heat pump replacing electric heat pump, electric resistance heat, wood heat, natural gas heat,
propane gas heat or oil heat, as the primary heating system.

Geothermal heat pump $250/Ton


A certified geothermal dealer must do geothermal system replacing any type of system and installation.

W ater Heaters:
Electric water heater must be at least 30-gallon capacity and have dual heating elements.

Electric to electric change out $75/System ($150 for Marathon)


Electric water heater replacing existing electric water heater.

Electric replacing gas $300/System ($500 for Marathon)


Electric water heater replacing gas water heater.

Waste Heat Recovery Unit $250/House


Waste heat recovery system installed on an existing electric water heater. Only one rebate per home is
permitted, even if there are multiple systems installed.

Note:
1. All rebate requests must be submitted for installations that have been completed for no more
