Reflection one (1):
My initial impression of the school and facilities was good I was
so excited to see the school facilities spatially the kindergarten.
I want to see and remember my childhood in kindergarten so I
found my class and my teacher places and I know where are
the school facilities places. Such as, the library the playground,
the bathrooms and the student teachers room. I meet my MST
teacher and her name is Andrea Dufour. She was very kind and
helpful teacher. In fact, I will make the 10 tasks, observations
on class KG\1a. there are 25 students in this class their ages
between 4 to 5 years old. I got all the materials I need for the
(STUDENT TEACHING PRACTICE BOOKLET). Moreover, the
school members or staff are very helpful and kind people. The
administration and all the members in the school ware happy to
invite us as a student teacher from HCT college. In addition,
there is one negative thing to make me surprised, which is that
there is no cafeteria in the kindergarten. I was shocked when I
know about this thing and I determined that cafeteria is one of
the very important facility should children have it in the
kindergarten. I feel so happy and confident about working in
this environment with the MST and the student. I know and I
learn today a lot of things about the class teachers and class
management. in fact, my MST teacher Endrea share the
classroom with Arabic and Islamic teacher her name is Shama.
My MST has a two student teacher, me and another student
from the Zaid university her name is Wadaha. She in her last
year of education so she had a lot of experience in teaching.
she engorges me to teach and she gives me some advices and
tips in teaching student. On the other hand, I know and learn
today that the classroom management and being responsible of
each student in the class are very hard work.

This is my first day in Al Aryam Kindergarten. This Kindergarten is well
organized. The teachers are respectful and responsible. I like the
environment there because everything is colorful and attractive. Also, I
met my teacher. Her name is Yvette. She taught the children English,
Math, and Science. I also met another teacher. Her name is Bashaier. She
taught the children Arabic and Islamic. In my class, there isn't a teaching
assistant. My class's name is KG 1B. There are 25 children in my class.
Their ages are 3 to 4 years old. I got all the materials that I need for my
portfolio. The children were very organized. They put everything in its
place such as their bags, pencils and even the chairs. So, this is the most
interesting thing that I like it. What I feel is teaching job isn't easy
especially teaching children. The teacher should be patient and know how
to deal with them. I learned some different ways to teach the children
including using songs, pictures, drawings and games.
I read Hanans reflection one, she covered all the
questions that she should answer, she wrote about her
MST teacher name and subjects that she teaches also
she wrote about her opinion in Al Aryam GK generally.

My initial impression of the school and facilities was good I would like to
say thank you to the teachers for helping me to show me kindergarten,
respect me and answer my questions. I meet with my MST her name is
Kight, she was a very kind teacher also I meet with the manager and other
teachers. There is now a teaching assistant in my class. However, my
class name is KG1 C there is 22 students and their ages 4 years, but three
of children is 5 years old. I got all the materials I need for the (STUDENT
TEACHING PRACTICE BOOKLET) except web address. which I interested in
kindergarten that is all inside it is about colors that will help children to
learn also I like they separate KG1 from KG2 and per class they have toilet
and playground outside the class also a lot of areas, however I shocked all
children bring their goods with them while they have a cafeteria but the
children should bring their food. I feel happy in this environment they
listen and respect me, it's like collaborative environment and that will help
me know how to teach students in the future. I had learned attend before
the class, respect everyone, how to adapt a new environment and how to
communicate with children.
I read Azizas reflection one, she describes the class
environment specifically which makes me imagine the
place, she wrote about her MST teacher and how does
she helps her in her first day.
