Week 1:
11:32am - Tuesday 2nd May 2017
As I am the only member of the production team I will be responsible for all work. Currently, I am
doing doing pre-production for LO2 - I am in the process of doing recces and risk assessments for my
locations, preferably, I would like to have this finished by Thursday's lesson, as this would be within
the deadline.
I plan on filming later on today*, as well as all day thursday - doing so, i hope will allow me to get
several scenes of my project completed, ready to edit. An occurring problem that I am facing is the
fact that I dont have a secure location for filming, so I am just filming whatever I can find and
whatever i think is suitable. I shall slowly overcome these problems, by writing a recce and risk
assessment for the locations I use, therefore making them part of my official pre production of my
product
*When I filmed later, it didnt go very well. I disliked all the footage I filmed, so decided to delete it.
Week 2:
9:30am - Thursday 11th May 2017
As I am the only member of the production team I will be responsible for all work. Within this lesson, I
am finishing off my recces and risk assessments - Im almost finished, I just havent added the photos
of the locations, or backup locations. Although not in class, I am spending the morning finishing this
off, so I can film later on in the day.
When filming, Im only going to do the outside locations from my storyboard as these will be the
easiest to film. Logistically, filming may be difficult, as I am the only one there, meaning I have to
operate the camera/ be the actor (if necessary) and also use the props. If this does become a
problem, I will rearrange film, but ensure I have some helpers/actors on standby, allowing me to focus
on one element instead of doing it all.
12:45 - 3:30 - Filming times.
Filming went well, and although I did get some footage that was not apparent of my storyboard, and
just filming on a whim because I thought it looked good and would fit within my theme. Im hoping to
use some of the footage.
