These keys are helps to work quickly on the keyboard.
All keys are using commonly with ALT Key. Some times we can use ALT +CTRL keys for different
purposes. For example CTRL+S, means first your hold the CTRL key and press S letter key.
You can find some shortcut keys by underlined in all applications and editors.
For example see in the following picture,
In the above picture underlined F, it means that menu you want to open you must use ALT+F key.
And if you want to open new file or document, you must press CTRL+N .

Home                 Goes to beginning of current line.
Shift + End          To select or highlight the text from ending of the line

CTRL + A                       Selects all the items in the active window.
                               Copies the item or items to the Clipboard and can be pasted
