AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS

I, ANA ROSE GAMBOC LAGASCA, Filipino, 33 years old, married, and


presently residing at 68 Interior-C, Balacbac, Sto. Tomas Proper Baguio
City, after having been sworn in accordance with law do hereby depose and say:

1) That I know the spouses Richard and Flora Bolla because I am their niece;

2) That I lived with my uncle Richard and aunt Flora when I was little and
did not experience any abuse from them. I know them to be kind, loving
and obliging people, who are ready to offer a helping hand to people in
times of need;

3) That uncle Richard did not stay very often at home due to the nature of his
work as a small-scale miner and would stay only during weekends with
the entire family at home;

4) That I know Elizabeth L. Gamboc because she is my cousin. That when I


saw her in 2009 she looked healthy but when I saw her in 2015 during the
wake of our grandfather, she was very thin and small and had numerous
scars on her arms, legs and face;

5) That when I lived with my uncle Richard and Aunt Flora, I often hear
Elizabeth cry because her mother always hit her. Elizabeth and her family
was still living at Navy Base back then, and that the wall which divided
the two homes was just made of plywood so that we can hear what was
going on at the other side. Every time Elizabeth committed any mistake,
her mother spanked and pinched her. That I did not tell the authorities of
the abuse because her mother threatened to kill anyone who will interfere;

6) That when I stayed overnight at Nangalisan, during the one year death
commemoration of our grandfather on July 28, 2016, I heard my aunt
Barnie told my uncle Efren that they should do anything to get the house
at Navy Base back. This incident happened when we were lying together
side by side at night when they thought everyone was asleep and when I
was an earshot away from them;

7) That when I was just a minor, I experienced being abused by my uncle


Efren. One morning, before my graduation from high school, my uncle
Efren laid beside me when I was sleeping, embraced me and let his
hardened male part touched my behind while doing a pumping motion
while on a side-lying position. That when I suddenly woke up and became
aware of what he was doing, I screamed for my father who was just
outside. My uncle ran upstairs while I ran outside to my father. But
because I was scared, I told my father that I just had a bad dream. That my
uncle Efren did this to me several times before this particular incident;
8) That I am voluntarily executing this affidavit to attest to the truthfulness of the
foregoing facts.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto affixed my signature this _____ day of
