Poster Project

Directions:

In groups of three, you will create a poster about your assigned joint! It is your job
to gather your knowledge from the skeletal and muscular system to create the
poster. You will then research online about your joint to find extra information!

What to Include:

Pictures of your Joint:


- At least 3 pictures of the joint
- One has to be of the bones (skeletal picture)
- One has to be what we see on the outside (location on your body)
- They can be computer generated or hand drawn

Information about your joint:


- The name
- The type (gliding, pivot, ball and socket, or hinge)
- The bones that make up the joint

Possible injuries that can occur


- Are there any common injuries to this joint?
- What kind of injury?
- How can it be prevented?
- What usually causes these injuries?

Extra fun facts


- Find five extra things about your joint that we did not learn in class
