             TERRELL CARTER
With season four of smash TV show
Empire well under way, we can’t keep
our eyes off newest series regular
Terrell Carter. He first showed up
on the hit drama as a guest character
in season three, playing gay love
interest Warren, and has been bumped
up to a cast regular for the current run,
which premiered in September. The 6ft
             5in demigod, originally from Buffalo,
New York, blasted on to American
prime-time TV back in September 2011
when he made judge Paula Abdul blush
with his silky velvet tones on the US
version of The X Factor. However, he had
already had some success, appearing in
Diary of a Mad Black Woman in 2005,
and, although his singing career was
abruptly cut short, he went on to
             play policeman Kevin Campbell
             in Netflix’s Shooter. Now it
looks as if Carter is building
             an empire of his own.

Summer has well and truly disappeared in London with everyones winter garments varying in the spectrum
of the ‘Black Pantone’. Imagine yourself half way round the World to Rio’s endless sunshine, suring and
partying with the locals lighting up the streets. Independent Leaders fall 17 collection keeps this spirit alight.
Independent Leaders most commonly known as the ‘Urban Resort Wear’ brand is vamping up it’s edge,
stepping away from it’s usual surf scene and sliding into the skatepark zone, a famous sport recognised in
Brazil. In almost every skate park there is highly vibrant use of colour created by talented street artists. Like
us, they are making a statement. Our personality as a brand, inspires us freely in each item, brightening
the mood while walking the pavements during winter outside of Rio. Be sure to check out our latest
photoshoot, in a heavily graitied skate park based in London with two easy on the eyes models / pro
skaters Christian Arno and Darius Trabalza.
This season due to popular demand we listened to our Leaders and have transformed streetwear staples
into our collection, bringing to you seven striking Sweats. Each unique design takes you back to the
lifestyle that you can’t help but take on board when you are exploring the sights of Ipanema, The Favela’s or
the ever daring Amazon Rainforest.
With much pleasure we are introducing our new must have Bomber Jackets! We currently have three
exclusive eye catching styles, which can be worn tailored to your shape, or for the street wear over sized vibe.
However you want to style your day our versatile jackets will add a burst of colour and keep you on trend.

     CLEAN SLATE
     Everyone hates the term, “new
year, new you” but let’s face
it, you’re going to be at the
     gym, doing dry January and
     channelling your inner health
guru for a few weeks before
your resolve wears off. If you’re
     working on your well-being
     and all-round MOT, investing in
     some grooming gear that will
     last throughout the year might
be a resolution you can stick to.
     Cornerstone have a simple
     automated system in which
you pick an array of shaving
     products that are delivered
     directly to you. Starting with
     a personalised razor with
your initials, you can tailor the
     service to your shaving rituals
     and nuances, even adjusting
     the frequency of the delivery
     depending on how hairy you
     like to get. They’re basically
doing all the hard work for you!
