SMOKING

Someone who tried smoking is addictive because it will usually

be smoking opium that are difficult to be released in any condition. A

heavy smoker would choose to smoke than eat if he has money is limited.

Seseorang yang mencoba merokok biasanya akan ketagihan karena

rokok bersifat candu yang sulit dilepaskan dalam kondisi apapun. Seorang

perokok berat akan memilih merokok daripada makan jika uang yang

dimilikinya terbatas.

“Smoking can cause cancer, heart attacks, impotence, and interruption of

pregnancy“.However, the words are only used as a mere decoration.


“Merokok dapat menyebabkan kanker, serangan jantung, impotensi, dan

gangguan kehamilan”. Namun, kata-kata tersebut hanya digunakan

sebagai hiasan semata.

Despite having hundreds of bad impact on the human life’s quality,

cigarette still has many supporters in which this activity derived from the

smokers and companies who annually produce millions of cigarettes. The

smokers stated that they are very difficult to live without cigarettes. They

consider that those are the source of inspiration, the way to release the

fatigue, and giver of a peace to the mind. They are already addicted to

cigarettes and choose not to eat rather than not smoking. Meanwhile, The

companies argue that toxin produces the largest revenue to the country

each year and there are thousands of people will lose their jobs when the

government decided to close the cigarette factories.

Meskipun mempunyai ratusan dampak buruk bagi kualitas hidup seorang

manusia, rokok masih mempunyai banyak pendukung dimana aktivitas ini

berasal dari para perokok dan produsen yang setiap tahunnya

memproduksi jutaan batang rokok. Para perokok menyatakan bahwa

mereka sangat sulit hidup tanpa rokok. Perokok aktif menganggap rokok

adalah sumber inspirasi, penghilang penat, dan pemberi kedamaian bagi

pikiran. Mereka sudah kecanduan terhadap rokok dan memilih untuk tidak

makan daripada tidak merokok. Sementara itu, orang-orang yang


memproduksi rokok berkilah bahwa rokok merupakan penyumbang

pendapatan terbesar bagi negara setiap tahunnya dan ada ribuan orang

yang kehilangan pekerjaan jika pemerintah memutuskan untuk menutup

pabrik rokok.

In this coloumn, participants choose diseases as the highest

because mostly participants think that smokers in Indonesia will stop

smoking after they get diseases like lung cancer or heart diseases.

And participants also think that self-awareness of smokers in

Indonesia is not good.

Di kolom ini, peserta memilih penyakit sebagai yang tertinggi karena

sebagian besar peserta berpikir bahwa perokok di Indonesia akan

berhenti merokok setelah terkena penyakit seperti kanker paru-paru

atau penyakit jantung. Dan peserta juga berpikir bahwa kesadaran

diri perokok di Indonesia tidak baik.

Because mostly smokers in Indonesia will stop smoking after they

get deseases like lung or heart deseases.

Karena kebanyakan perokok di Indonesia akan berhenti merokok

setelah terkena penyakit seperti paru-paru atau penyakit jantung.

When we give a health education about smoking ban or the dangers

of smoking, sometimes smokers feel interested to ask about the

impact of smoking, what kind of the diseases, and others. Also when
the informant show the scary pictures of the diseases, smokers will

feel afraid.

Saat kita memberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang larangan

merokok atau bahaya merokok, terkadang perokok merasa tertarik

untuk bertanya tentang dampak merokok, penyakit apa, dan lain-lain.

Juga saat informan menunjukkan gambar penyakit yang

menakutkan, perokok akan merasa takut.

To all smokers who can accept advices from whoever sometimes

they will realized about the dangers of smoking. But in the fact, it’s

very rarely to find a kind of that smokers. Especially someone who

very difficult to accept advices from another people.

Kepada semua perokok yang bisa menerima nasehat dari siapa pun

terkadang mereka akan sadar tentang bahaya merokok. Tapi

kenyataannya, sangat jarang menemukan jenis perokok itu. Terutama

seseorang yang sangat sulit menerima nasehat dari orang lain.

So, to all smokers, sometimes the dangerous diseases like lung

cancer, hard to breath, etc can give the biggest affect to them.

But, for the self-awareness is very minimum to change

perspective about the dangers of smoking to be better perspective.


Jadi, untuk semua perokok, terkadang penyakit berbahaya seperti

kanker paru-paru, sulit bernafas, dll bisa memberi pengaruh terbesar

pada mereka.

Tapi, untuk kesadaran diri sangat minim untuk mengubah perspektif

area should apply limitation of working time, the working time that
not recommended is above at 11.00 pm until 5.00 am. Because at that

work accidents.

Menurut saya, selama bekerja di malam hari memiliki banyak dampak

negatif daripada positif, salah satu dampak negatifnya adalah

terganggunya pola tidur karena waktu yang harus kita gunakan untuk

beristirahat tidak bisa digunakan dengan baik, jadi siklus tidur kita

tidak teratur. ? Berdasarkan saran saya, di indonesia terutama di

daerah surabaya harus menerapkan batasan waktu kerja, waktu kerja

yang tidak disarankan adalah di atas pada pukul 11.00 WIB sampai

dengan pukul 5.00. Karena pada saat itu tubuh membutuhkan

pemulihan dan pembaharuan energi cadangan yang dimiliki karena

sistem tubuh akan menurun pada malam hari. Dampak lain dari shift

malam bisa meningkatkan jumlah kecelakaan kerja.
