Worlds of Adventure

Vol.1 Issue 1

Holy Variants of Hebrexes

A kind of League of Justice in a Lovecraftian version of the 14th century. These

characters are like demigods during the Black Plague, either imbued with the
miraculous power of the Saints, given to witchcraft, or capable of great strength
or charisma. It is a dark reflection of our own medieval age and cultists abound.
Can these new gods stay sane enough to delay the inevitable end? And what of the
One True God? Will these powerful heroes become saints in the Catholic pantheon or
be brushed aside as demonic detritus on the road to salvation?

MechWar22

In the late 22nd century, Earth's resources have been depleted to the point of
environmental collapse. Technological advances have eliminated the threat of most
disease and sickness, and humanity now numbers in the hundreds of billions.
Overcrowding and resource competition have lead to armed conflict... in giant power
armor, with drones, and especially in orbit. Now, super soldiers, equipped with
the most advanced gear available, are suited up and transmitted orders to assemble
at Strike Point 0 to begin Operations. This mission will culminate in the
permanent elimination of hostilities on Earth by way of securing key areas,
destroying the resources of various enemies of Earth, and triumphing over the
orbital command fleet.

Fever Pitch

In the near future, a new anti-religious fervor has gripped the most powerful,
media-fed nations on Earth, and a witchhunt to eliminate superstion and faith is
on. Psychics are recruited and in some cases created to be inquisitors to hunt
"the faithful". Often, superstitionists are put on mock trial and electrocuted on
display for all to see. However, a number of psychics reject their role and become
the saviors and destroyers some say they were destined to be, paving the way for a
new kind of humanity.
