Greetings Miss Burns’s Gardeners

Educational Autobiography
There are many reasons people decide to teach. They could have
had negative experiences, and they want to become a teacher so
that doesn’t happen to more students. Or they could have had
positive experiences, and they want to continue to be a positive
influence in the lives of today’s students. For me, it’s the second
choice. All of my elementary school teachers were great, and I
want to have the same positive impact on my students that my
teachers had on me. In my opinion, elementary school is a critical
point for young students. It is where they get their foundation,
and character is an important part of that foundation. I feel as
though character is lacking from a lot of people in today’s world.
A lot of people have no morals and do not care about anyone ex-
cept themselves. I want to make sure that my students display
great character, so when they get older, they will be able to use
the foundation given to them in order to be successful, helpful
people in society.
