Land Rover Independent Repair Operator Full Software
Subscription
Qualified Jaguar/Land Rover independent repair operators (“Operators”) are entitled
to purchase Jaguar/Land Rover North America diagnostic software subscriptions. A full
software diagnostic subscription is available for purchase through Service Solutions
provided that certain Jaguar/Land Rover requirements have been met as described below.
The following are the instructions and requirements to purchase the necessary
approved equipment and software
Diagnostic software subscriptions may be obtained in two ways:
1. Full Software Diagnostics Subscription – An annual full software diagnostic
subscription which allows a subscriber to diagnose and program all Jaguar/Land
Rover vehicle systems may be purchased by an Operator through Service Solutions
provided that the Operator also purchases the following Jaguar/ Land Rover-
approved diagnostic equipment through Service Solutions:
a. PC (CF19/53 SDD/T4)*
b. Diagnostic Interface (VCI)
c. 12 month PC diagnostic and re-programing software not inclusive of service
information
d. Approval by Jaguar/Land Rover UK required with application of business
information
i. Additional items may be purchased by the Operator based on its
needs - *T4 Diagnostic for servicing Land Rover Legacy Vehicles
(1996 to 2005) will require hardware at additional cost.
2. Emission Based (OBD II only) Module Programming – Purchased via TOPIx in
the options menu
a. Operator purchases its own hardware
b. Operator purchases its own VCI
c. Emission Based (OBD II only) Module Programming is not supported by
Service Solutions

Action steps:
1. Operator registers with a TOPIx username (chosen by subscriber):

2. Operator will be required to provide the following documentation:
o Business Letterhead with Operator’s written request for approval to obtain
a full Jaguar/Land Rover diagnostic software subscription.
o Tax ID Number
o Local business certificate
o Years in business at this location
o TOPIx User ID (Do not provide Password)
o Proof of purchase (invoice). Invoice should show part numbers of items
purchased previous to request or intent to purchase (sales order) of
Jaguar/Land Rover hardware from Service Solutions. NOTE: Minimum
equipment required is IDS PC and JLR-MONGOOSE-VCI Vehicle
communication interface device
3. The above information is e-mailed or faxed to Service Solutions.

4. Service Solutions will forward the request and documentation to Jaguar/Land Rover
North America for review and approval. Jaguar/Land Rover North America approval or
denial will be communicated to Service Solutions.

Jaguar / Land Rover North America have the right to approve or deny all
requests.
5. If approved, Service Solutions will contact the Operator directly to complete the sale
of the required hardware and the subscription license. Operator will be required to
complete and submit the Integrated Diagnostic System Order Form (see below).
6. ALL purchases are made by credit card only.
7. Once the sale of the hardware is completed, the invoice forwarded to Jaguar/Land
Rover North America, the TOPIx administrators will ensure the subscriber's account is
upgraded to receive the diagnostic software for a period of one year. Software
subscription purchase MUST be renewed at each 1 year anniversary. To renew the
subscription after one year, Operator must comply with the requirements and conditions
for the subscription license in effect at time of renewal by resubmitting documentation
to.
8. Details of purchase will be kept in case of any security breaches, following data
protection laws.

enhanced features and complete content is limited to subscribers only.

11. NOTE: With the introduction of SDD2, all service information (Workshop Manual,
Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Electrical Reference Library, TSB’s and service updates)
will require a TOPIx document subscription in addition to the IDS diagnostic software
subscription. The TOPIX document subscription is purchased directly through TOPIx
website home page.
