a) How to start WordPad?
Ans: To start WordPad, we have to click Start menu, then point to All Programs, point
to Accessories, and then to click WordPad.
b) Mention the three buttons of the Title bar.
Ans: i) Minimize, ii) Maximize/Restore Down, & iii) Close.
c) Write the way to add a command to the Quick Access toolbar.
Ans: To add a command to the Quick Access Toolbar, right-click any command in any group
and then click Add to Quick Access Toolbar.
d) How to select many lines of text in WordPad?
Ans: To select many lines of text, click the left mouse button and drag it diagonally over the
text, and then release it.
e) Where is the Font group located?
Ans: The Font group is located under the Home tab in WordPad.
f) What is the use of Underline option?
Ans: The Underline option is used to underline the text.
g) What is the difference between the Bold and Italic option?
Ans: The difference between the Bold and Italic option is- The Bold option is used to make
the text darker than normal. And the Italic option is used to set the text in slanted form.
h) Write short notes on Ruler and Tabs?
Ans:
Ruler: The Ruler is used to set the text, pictures, tables, and other graphics on a page.
Tabs: The ribbon contains many tabs. Tabs are divided into groups and groups contain
commands.
