Research Title: Nanay's Choice: Taste of Rock Salt and Iodized Salt in Pinoy's Nilagang Baboy

Rock salt and iodized salt are commonly used in Filipino cooking. This study examines the taste preferences of people for rock salt versus iodized salt in nilagang baboy, a Filipino pork stew. The researchers prepared two versions of nilagang baboy, one using rock salt and one using iodized salt, to determine whether tasters could tell the difference and which version they preferred.
