Modernist Architecture Interior Design: What Are Design Visualization Methods Through The Lens of Cognitive Theory?

The document discusses several topics related to interior design and architecture. It asks questions about how aesthetic qualities impact design, how elements of space making help produce good interior spaces, whether form always depends on function and how to justify different perspectives. It also asks how good design solutions can achieve functional improvement, aesthetic enrichment and psychological enhancement. The document defines the difference between interior design and interior decoration. Finally, it discusses how the scale and proportion of any interior must relate to the architecture and human body, and describes theories of proportion developed by ancient Greeks, Leonardo da Vinci, and Le Corbusier.
