To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter of recommendation for Raelyn Hoskins, as she
begins her career in teaching. I have known Ms. Hoskins for quite some time as
her academic advisor, and instructor for several courses she took while
completing her degree in Early Childhood Education at Bradley University.
I have found Ms. Hoskins to be terrific to work with: she shows many fine
qualities that will stand her in good stead when she is in a classroom of her own.
She is intelligent, takes the time to reflect and improve, and asks questions when
she doesn’t know something (but tries on her own first). Raelyn really sticks to
things, and works hard to perfect her craft, two attributes I feel are very important
for a truly professional teacher.
Ms. Hoskins has had a variety of experiences working with children,
ranging from the volunteer work she has done in nursery schools to time spent
as a classroom volunteer in a second-grade class. She has also worked very
diligently in the multiple field experience courses she has participated in, both
before she transferred to Bradley and after.
I am very happy to be able to recommend Ms. Raelyn Hoskins to you. She
is exactly the kind of person I would like to see on my staff if I were a principal.
She will make a wonderful teacher and colleague, and the district or that hires
her will be very fortunate indeed!
Sincerely,

Dr. Cecile M. Arquette
