2. Most of the explanations in this manual dealing with

the F-401/N4004 to program, aperture-priority or
shutter-priority auto exposure mode, with the S8-20
set to TTL, automatic balanced fill-flash is possible in
situations where fill-flash is effective, even with a
bright subject. For details, see the F-401/N4004 in·
struction manual. (In manual exposure mode, ordi·
nary TTL fill-flash is possible.)

The Nikon OC Unit SO-7 is an optional external power
source. To use it, connect the SO-Ts power cord SC-16
to the S8-20's external power terminal. Even when AS-4
