JOB DESCRIPION/ ACCOUNTABILITY
Organize, Monitor & Coordinate the effective implementation of Occupational
Health & Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) to protect personnel &
equipment’s against accidents, incidences, dangerous occurrences & also
occupational disease by maintaining safe workplace, to enhance accident free
productivity.

Responsible for overall Safety of the plants.
Responsible for developing maintaining and improving Occupational Health
& safety management system.
Execution of responsibilities as per Factory Act, 1948
Up keeping of Fire Fighting equipments
Key Responsibilities
Ensure strict adherence to PPEs in the plant operations & developing safety
systems to achieve zero accident targets.
To ensure implementation of all safety procedures in the site, including
Permit to Work, Emergency Response, Management of Change and Internal
Audits.
Carry out safety audit, HAZOP, JSA, PSSHER, FMEA, WHY WHY analysis as
per procedure
Implementation of Behavior Based Safety program in the organization.
Investigation of accidents with route cause analysis and implementation of
corrective actions.
Prepare monthly reports, accidents trend & analysis and present the same
to the management.
Develop emergency response plan, ensure periodic mock drill. Train fire
crew & emergency team members on emergency preparedness,
Keep emergency equipment including fire station, fire tender, SCBA sets
etc. in ready condition
To establish systems and procedures to impart safety training to all
employees, contractors.
