Sampling Procedure
The target population of the researchers are the Senior High
School students of Aklan Catholic College. The sampling frame will
be the students of Grade 11 Accountancy and Business Management
section A. The sample size were determined using the Slovin’s
formula with a 95% confidence level, leading to 0.05 significance
level of hypothesis.
𝑁 40 40
𝑛= 2

1 + 𝑁𝑒 1 + 40(0.05) 1.100
Because of the 95% confidence level, the Slovin’s formula
identified the total sample size as 36 students. The researchers
will take 36 students out of the 40 total population of the
students. This represents 90% of the total population of Grade 11
Accountancy and Business Management section A, which is 36
students.
The researchers will utilized a systematic sampling
technique to regulate the 36 respondents from the Grade 11
Accountancy and Business Management section A students. The full
list of names of the students, which is the sampling frame were
taken from the class secretary with permission from their adviser.
The respondents of this study were selected at regular intervals
through the alphabetical list of their names. Systematic sampling
involves a random start and then proceeds with the selection of
the respondents in every 3rd intervals. The Grade 11 Accountancy
and Business Management section A students whose names appeared on
every 3rd intervals were used as respondents in the administration
of the final form of the checklist.
