Subject: Theme Park Report
I am pleased to enclose the completed “Theme park report” for 2018. This report contains all the
information needed to build a new theme park in the US as requested by the theme park committee.
The information provided in this report includes the following: building costs, jobs created, revenue,
location, and growth. With these statistics we can predict the feasibility of construing a new theme park
in the US and the predicted growth of the theme park in the future. I hope this report greatly helps in
building the new theme park in the US.
I hope this report will provide the committee with the needed information to build and open a theme
park in the US and it’s predicted future. If you have any questions, please contact me. I can be reached
by phone number (222)333-4444, and my email nikkilaj@dupage.edu.

Executive Summary
This report examines all the information needed to build a new theme park in the US as requested by
the theme park committee. The information provided in this report includes the following: building
costs, jobs created, revenue, location, and growth. With these statistics we can predict the feasibility of
construing a new theme park in the US and the predicted growth of the theme park in the future.
The state of the theme park is base off revenue, location, and growth. Building the theme park will be
based off building costs for the rollercoaster, stores, restaurants, and restrooms.
With the above factors it will be easy to establish a new theme park.
Introduction
This report examines all the information needed to build a new theme park in the US as requested by
the theme park committee. The information provided in this report includes the following: building
costs, jobs created, revenue, location, and growth. With these statistics we can predict the feasibility of
construing a new theme park in the US and the predicted growth of the theme park in the future.
The following statistics are being used in the following report:
Cost: The amount of money needed to build and maintain a theme park.
Revenue: The net amount of money the theme park will earn annually.
Location: A good place to build the theme park.
Jobs Created: The number of jobs created by building a theme park.
Growth: The projected growth of the theme park in the future.

Cost
The average cost of constructing a theme park per first-year guests is about 109.61 dollars. If you were
to attract let’s say million guest, it would make about 109,610,000 million dollars. Normally major roller
coaster cost around 10-30 million dollars, this includes the design, materials needed, and the building
cost. The smaller roller coaster cost around 5-15 million dollars each.
Revenue
the revenue depends on location, how much it cost, and how well it is built. The graph below shows the
development, costs, and revenue of the most successful theme parks around the world. Hong Kong’s
Disneyland has the highest revenue of 338,400,000 million dollars, while Six flags only make about
96,800,000 million dollars.

Location
Location is very important when building a theme park. The theme park should be just close enough to a
city to get their business but not to close to other theme parks like six flags. Putting a theme park on the
border of two states would allow for business for both while staying far enough way for most theme
parks. The graph below shows that there are more theme parks in Australia then in the US.
Figure 2
The location that is picked needs to be able to accommodate the people that came to the theme park. In
the graph below it show successful theme parks that accommodate the people that come to them.

Jobs created
When a theme park is built it creates 8 different types of jobs. The 8 types are Food and Drinks,
Merchandise, Attritions, Custodial, front entrance/ ticketing, security, Grounds maintenance, and
entertainment.

Growth
The expected growth for building theme park in 2018 looks very good based on the graph below (figure
5). The growth rate of attendance for the theme park will also grow (see figure 6).

Conclusion
With all the above information we can conclude it is plausible to establish a new theme park in the US.
The feasibility of opening a new them park in the United States is best seen in the cost and revenue
statistics. With both revenue and with a steady growth, any new theme park has a good chance to start
in US. Even though there are many theme parks in the US, a small theme park still has a good chance to
start and grow bigger.
