Angkor Archaeological Park


Magnificent remains of several capitals of the Khmer Empire. It is located in northern
Cambodia, is one of the most important archaeological sites in Southeast Asia.

2. Bali
Unique Hindu culture, beaches and mountains on the Island of the Gods. It is an Indonesian
island located in the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, lying between Java to
the west and Lombok to the east.
3. Dead Sea
The Dead Sea is popular with tourists from all over the world for its reputed therapeutic
effects. The water of the Dead Sea is unique, as it has ten times the salt content of other
sea water. This allows anyone to easily float on Dead Sea water because of its greater
density.

The Great Wall of China stretches from Liaoning Province through Hebei Province, Tianjin
Municipality, Beijing Municipality, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Shanxi Province,
Shaanxi Province, and Ningxia Autonomous Region to Gansu Province within the country of

5. Lake Baikal
Lake Baikal is the biggest and deepest freshwater lake in the world, containing over one

highest mountain in the world attracts many well-experienced mountaineers as well as

7. Petra
Petra, the fabled "rose red city, half as old as time", is a well known ancient Nabataean city
in the south of Jordan. Due to its breathtaking grandeur and fabulous ruins, Petra was
recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985.
8. Registan
The Registan was the heart of the ancient Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The name Registan
means "Sandy place" in Persian. The Registan was a place of public executions, where
also people gathered to hear royal proclamations, heralded by blasts on enormous copper
pipes called dzharchis. Also, it is a major trade city on the Silk Road.
9. Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal is one of the most recognizable structures in the world. It was built by Mughal
emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is widely considered as
one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and stands as a symbol of eternal love.
10. Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram
The Wat Phra Kaew, Temple of the Emerald Buddha; full official name Wat Phra Si Rattana
Satsadaram, is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple (wat) in Thailand. It is a
"potent religio-political symbol and the palladium of Thai society". It is located in the historic
centre of Bangkok (district Phra Nakhon), within the precincts of the Grand Palace. See
