Kae McFadzen worked with Morgan Taylor during her student teaching placement at Gilbert Paterson Middle School from March to June 2018. To Whom It May Concern:

I had the pleasure of working with Morgan Taylor during her PSII round at Gilbert Paterson
Middle School. Morgan joined our team in March of 2018. She initially took on the
responsibility of the Science program but quickly took on other classes. Morgan was also eager
to help with my sewing option.

Morgan’s knowledge level was evident from the beginning of her round. She easily guided the
students in discussions and was able to talk to the them with confidence and passion. Morgan
was very well planned. She took the time to make sure she knew where she was going and this
allowed for effective flow in the lessons. She was also able to maturely and effectively reflect
upon lessons and make necessary changes.

Morgan showed a high level of interest in her students and quickly learned names and interests.
She was quick to see individual challenges experienced by her students and used a number of
strategies to assist those students. Morgan was open to trying, reflecting, and changing her
approach when necessary.

Overall, Morgan was a well-planned, enthusiastic, and articulate teacher. She showed a desire to
continue her learning process and was always receptive to input. She tried a number of
approaches and effectively reflected upon her lessons. She shows great promise and I am sure
will enjoy a rewarding career as a teacher.
