Thank you to everyone who willingly gave up their time to make the 2018 BBQ a success! Everyone’s work was truly
appreciated. Thank you to Circles 1 and 3 for working as scheduled and to everyone else who filled in as needed. We
would like to extend a special thank you to Wade Schmidt, Lucas Markowitz, Rose Redeker, & Leo Brown, who stayed
well beyond their shift and helped wherever and with whatever we needed. Thank you to the following people: LeAnne
Haag & Debbie Cole, who stepped in and made a wonderful white sauce (not one scorched pan!), Jenny Schmidt who
stirred every batch of potatoes and ended up with a free potato facial., Leisa Wecker & Hannah Schmidt who sliced
every piece of bread perfectly (from the compliments it was definitely worth it), Steve Wecker for all your trips to The
Chicken House and Larry Coble and company for all your patience, hard work, and help carrying all our loads of
goodies to the school. To Bob Redeker for being in the right place at the right time to help unload LOTS of potatoes and
groceries, THANK YOU! To our families for you patience and help during the planning process, we simply could not
have done it without you, thank you. Jerry Haag & crew did another great job on the meat! It was delicious, thank you!
The BBQ committee always does a great job organizing every detail and this year was no different. The weather may
not have agreed, but it was hard to tell that The Knights Hall was their plan B. A BIG THANK YOU to them! To circle
3 leaders Tasia Markowitz and Jacque Wellnitz, your willingness and help with whatever was asked, whenever it was
asked is appreciated and we sure had fun in the process. Thank you for your time and dedication. We (Cassie) weren’t
sure what we were getting into, but are very glad we said yes to leading! All of the hard work was worth the reward of a
great BBQ! Many many thanks to everyone! - Marie Wecker & Cassie Dieker – Circle 1 Leaders
