Objectives:
The main objective of the project on “Doctor Appointment System” is to manage
details of Doctor, Appointment, patient, Booking. It manages all the information about Doctor, test.
The project Is totally built at administrative and thus only the administrator is guaranteed
the access .The purpose of the project is to build an application program to reduce the manual work
for managing the doctor, Appointment, Test, Patient. It tracks all the details about the patient,
Booking .
Abstract:
The purpose of Doctor appointment system is to automate the existing manual system by the health
of computerizes equipments and full-fledged computer software, full filling their requirements, so that their
valuable data or information can be stored for a longer period with easy accessing and manipulation of the
same. The required software and hardware are easily available and easy to work with.
Doctor Appointment System, as described above, can lead to error free, secure, reliable and fast
management system. it can assist the user to concentrate on their other activities rather to concentrate on the
record keeping. Thus it will help organization in better utilization of resource. The organization can
maintain computerized records without redundant entries.
Introduction:
The “Doctor Appointment System” has been developed to override the problems
prevailing in the practicing manual system. The software is supported to eliminate and some cases
reduce the hardships faced by this existing system. More over this system is designed for the
particular need of the company to carryout operations in a smooth and effective manner.
The project is a smart appointment booking system that provides patients or any user an easy
way of booking a doctor’s appointment. This is a web based application that overcomes the issue of
managing and booking appointments according to user’s choice or demands. The task sometimes
becomes very tedious for the compounder or doctor himself in manually allotting appointments for
the users as per their availability. Hence this project offers an effective solution where users can
view various booking slots available and select the preferred date and time. The already booked
space will be marked and will not be available for anyone else for the specified time. This system
also allows users to cancel their booking anytime. The application uses Php as a front-end and my-
sql database as the back-end.

It is easy way consult the doctor.
The application is easy to use for users.
The system helps to reduce the waiting time of the patient.
User can select appointment time according to his preference.
