scheduled from Tuesday, October 12 through Monday, October 18. Please remember to check out my
website in order to study for the tests. Once you get to my website, click on “Test Review,” and then
click on the appropriate grade level. I will be asking all my classes to let me know who doesn’t have
access to the internet. If you do not have internet at home, then I will be sending a study guide home with your child. If you have
not received a study guide, please contact me at school.

Nurse’s Notes
We will have vision and hearing screenings on October 12th. Students that wear glasses or contacts
please make sure you have those with you on this day!

Medication Reminder
Anytime your child needs to take medication here at school you will need to bring the medication in
the original container and fill out a permission slip. Children may NOT transport medication to
school or home from school. An adult must bring or pick up all medications. We cannot give any
medication at school without a permission slip. A handwritten note from the parent is not sufficient. If the medication is a
prescription medication you must have the prescribing doctor’s signature on the form before you bring the medication to school.
This is a district policy.

Fever Policy
Please remember if your child was sent home from the health room during the school day with a fever, the child has to be fever free
before returning to school for 24 hours without any fever reducing medications such as children’s Advil or Tylenol. If your child
wakes up in the morning and has a fever do not send him/her to school. If the child has had any vomiting or diarrhea within the last
12 hours the child should remain at home. Please remember these are times when a student should remain at home for his/her own
welfare and for the protection of others.
