Puerto Princesa, officially the City of Puerto Princesa, (Cuyonon: Siyudad i'ang Puerto

Princesa; Spanish: Ciudad de Puerto Princesa), and often referred to as Puerto Princesa City, is a
1st class Highly Urbanized City in the Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population
of 255,116 people.[4]
It is a city located in the western province of Palawan, and westernmost city in the Philippines.
Though the seat of government and capital for the province, the city itself is one of 38 independent
cities within the Philippines not controlled by the province in which it is geographically located and is
therefore an independent area located within Palawan.
It is the least densely populated city in the Philippines. In terms of land area, the city is the second

plane and ferry to Palawan Island. Manila is just a one-hour flight away. Even before the

was already a sought-after weekend or holiday destination for wealthy Manilans.
Things to See and Do in Puerto Princesa The Subterranean River National Park, a UNESCO
World Heritage Site, attracts many visitors to Puerto Princesa City, though it is located a good
two-hour’s drive northeast of the city. However, the city itself, and its immediate surroundings,
also offers a good range of pleasant options for things to see and do. Nearby Honda Bay provides
a great range of thrilling leisure activities with everything from island-hopping to snorkelling. At
the Butterfly Garden children and adults alike can get up close to a variety of fascinating species.

DRUGS
Some people deny the dangers of drug use, while mostly of the teens
nowadays are curious about drugs. They should stay away from drugs! because
drugs affect our health, that may lead to academic failure, and critical living.
Drugs are used from a long period of time in many countries.Friends or anyone
else that belong on your group have the greatest influence of using drugs during
adolescence.Controversies over drugs and the effects they have physically,
mentally, and emotionally have been around for centuries. Some argue the fact
that smoking marijuana has no health effects on the body. Some also say that
other drugs have no long term mental consequences to suffer. Now, thanks to
technology and hours of studies, answers have came to show the true long term
health effects of drugs on the human body and mind. Marijuana is one of the
most popular drugs in the world. It is known to many people as a way to get high
and just relax. Drugs are chemicals that change the way a person's body or mind
works. Drugs are not good for health as they have many side effects and
damage our brain, heart and other important organs. Drug is a depressant that
slows down the functions of the central nervous system. Some of the illegal
drugs are marijuana, ecstasy, cocaine, heroin. Drugs are consumed in different
ways, by inhaling, taking by mouth, injecting, applying on skin, and smoking.
When a person is addicted to a drug, the drug becomes so important that the
person cannot manage without it.Stress is one of the outcome of taking drugs. It
also creates problem in our family, school and with our friends. The person’s that
using it will become slower; they will have trouble working and doing things which
require any physical and mental coordination. In spite of knowing the harmful
effects of drugs, people spend lots of money and consume them to forget their
worries and sorrows and to seek happiness. Once a person is addicted, it is very
hard to stop taking drugs. Drugs get us involved in many illegal activities such as
crime, theft, etc. It leads to sexual assault and accidents. Young people use
drugs because of curiosity, pressure, boredom, finance problem and for
pleasure. The person’s behaviors tend to self-destructive activities and are often
harder to think clearly and make good decisions. Drug addiction is a complex but
treatable disease. An effective way to get rid of drugs is to have good
companions, involvement in games and social activities, reading books, etc.
