Day 62 - Companion

This document discusses Psalm 145:16 and its meaning for educators. It notes that God alone can satisfy mankind's deepest desires, as He created people with a God-sized void in their hearts. The document encourages educators to thank God for His consistent love and provision. It also urges educators to create a safe learning environment where students can grow, learn, and express themselves, and to commit wholeheartedly to students' well-being, though only God can fully meet their needs. The document closes with a prayer, quote, and brief notes.

Note to the educator

The  greatest  desires  of  m ankind  can  only  be  satisfied  by  God  Himself.  He  has  created  us  with
a  God-‐sized  hole  in  our  hearts  that  can be  filled  with  so  m any  things,  but  nothing  satisfies  us  as
well  as  God.  His  consistency  and  unfailing  love  is  amazing.  Let  us  thank  Him  every  day.  Our
Y

students  come  to  school  each  day  with  unsatisfied  desires.  W e  have  no  way  of  satisfying  their
needs  as  God  will,  but  we  can  be  m indful  of  a  safe  environment  where  they  can  grow,  gain
knowledge,  express  themselves  and  love  to  learn.  W e  can  give  them  our  whole  heart,  m ind  and
soul  in  everything  we  do.  They  know  the  difference  between  wholehearted  commitments  and
A

half-‐hearted  ones.  Let’s  be  wholly  devoted  to  their  well-‐being  in  our  school  environments.

1:16 PM prayer
D

Please  pray that  students  will  have  the  courage  to  be  honest.

Quote for the day

Life  is  what  happens  to  you  while  you’re  busy  making  other  plans.  John  Lennon
