Welcome to Class

Please grab your INB and something to write with.

It is a dark and stormy night. You put your costume
on and head out with your closest friends to go trick-
or-treating. Tell me the story of your adventure.
● Tell me about you and your friend’s costumes
● Add suspense if you choose
● Do you and your friends go trick-or-treating, or do
you go explore and abandoned house?
OR:
Write about Halloween night from the perspective of
a piece of candy!
While I read take notes about:

-What thoughts or feelings are you experiencing?

-What is happening in the story?
-What do you notice about the story?
-What is the mood of the story?
-What do you like about the story?
-What do you dislike about the story?
While the video plays, take notes about:

-What is said about “the eye”

-What is said about the heart
-Is the narrator insane?
-What do you notice during this read through?
