The document notes that as Christians grafted into God through Jesus Christ, God has promised even more to believers. It encourages educators to stand together against enemies of God and to be lights in their schools, knowing that pressures cannot overwhelm them as God is with them through fires of opposition.

Daily Promises of God

for educators Isaiah 43:1-2

NIV - But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you,
Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the
rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be
burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

RSV - But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass

when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

KJV - But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O
Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall
not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall
the flame kindle upon thee.

LB - But now the Lord who created you, O Israel, says: Don’t be afraid, for I have ransomed
you; I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great
trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When

you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up—the flames will not
consume you.

Note to the educator

A

The Lord has promised Israel and Jacob great things. How much more has He promised to those
of us who are gra@ed in through Jesus Christ? Brothers and sisters, we stand together against
all the powers and authoriEes that are enemies of God. We stand together to be ambassadors
and light to the dark places in our public schools. We stand together knowing that the rivers of
pressures from the district and state cannot overwhelm us. We stand together through the fire
D

of aJack on our profession. Since when has the teacher become the bad guy? We stand
together as ChrisEan educators with the solid foundaEon of Christ alone.
