Learning Outcome (ADEC code and words): The students will learn about the life cycle of Plants

Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

The teacher will draw on the board a table shows the 4 groups and then the teacher will say to the students “this
table will tell me which group will have the prize by the end of the lesson, to get a points you should be quiet and
listen to what the teacher says, now for the first game I want you to finish it before the time ends and the first

and the quiet group will get a point”. After that the teacher will give each group a Crossword puzzle for the title

of the lesson and each group should order it in the right way, and the teacher will set the time for 1 minute to
finish. The faster group will get a point, but the teacher should say “if you finish raise your hands without
shouting if you were the first group and you were shouting with word “finish” you will not get a point and I will
not consider you as the first group”. After they finish the winner group will tell me the title of our lesson which is
(The Life Cycle of Plants)

Guided and Independent Experience (group working with the teacher)

Guided: First the teacher will show the PowerPoint that have a pictures with the cycle of the flower and
while she is showing that she will explain what go first by “ first we have the seed after we have comes
the roots, then after a couples of days the steam starts showing then comes the leaves at the end we
have a beautiful flower” then the teacher will show the whole cycle and give brief explanation.
- Then the teacher will tell the students to come and set on the carpet and then she will draw the life
cycle, but she will let the students tell her which part is and the name of it.
- The students will have 4 activities for each group
Independent:
- G1: this activity called (Plant cycle) this activity will be for the whole group, basically the student will
have a big poster which is divided to a five parts and along with it they will have a pictures of the cycle of

the plant so what they should do is place the pictures by gluing it in the poster in order which go first as a
hint there will be word saying “START FROM HERE” in the poster.
- G2: this activity called (put the word in the right place) this activity is individual which is every student
should do it alone. Basically, the students will have a paper that have the name of every part of the plant
then they will have a picture of a flower and beside every part a box and they should cut and place the
name beside the part of the flower.
- G3 and G4: this activity will be for the whole group, the students will have 2 white poster and they will
have seeds, brown robs, cups and green straws. They will make the cycle of the plant by these materials
and placed on the white poster and they should name the parts by writing it.
Closing/ Assessment

The teacher will hand out a cups, cotton and seeds, after that the teacher will tell the students “ first we put
the seed inside the cotton” the teacher looks around to make sure everyone did the first step then she say “
